Attorney

The County Attorney is an elected official and leads the County Attorney's Office. Duties of that office include prosecution of all adult felony crimes that occur within the county, including all cases involving adults and juveniles, providing legal assistance to victims and witnesses, providing legal counsel to the County Board of Commissioners and County departments, initiating legal actions to protect abused and neglected children and vulnerable adults, providing child support enforcement, and conducting crime prevention initiatives.
