Financial Information

The Jackson County Auditor/Treasurer’s office is responsible for the financial activities of Jackson County.  Annual audits are performed by an externally contracted CPA firm. The annual audit reports can be found by visiting Audited Financial Statements under helpful links. 

County budgets are prepared annually by the Auditor/Treasurer’s office in collaboration with county department heads and the County Board of Commissioners.  The county budget dictates the property tax levy needed to fund county operations.
