Parks & Fee Information

Rate information can be found by reviewing the Jackson County Fee Schedule

Over the years, Jackson County has purchased and developed more than 200 acres of land throughout the county into our current park system. Jackson County Public Works operates and maintains these beautiful nature areas. Each park has its own unique qualities. Some have characteristics of timber with scenic views over a lake or river, while others have open field space for sports or large gatherings. Whichever you prefer, Jackson County invites you to share in the beauty of nature. We hope that you enjoy your time in our parks!

Our parks are open year round with hours set from Sunrise to 10:00 p.m. We also have designated camping available from May 1 to October 31 each year.

CAMPER SITES

Five of our parks include overnight camping. On Loon Lake and Pearl Lake, the campgrounds include: Anderson, Brown, Brown South, and Robertson Parks. On South Heron Lake, the campground is Sandy Point Park. All of our camping sites must be reserved on-line via our online reservation system.

Jackson County offers special monthly rates and a coupon book to help you save on camping fees. Coupon books can be purchased via our online reservation system. Coupon books can only be used for our regular camping sites, not camping cabins or designated lakeside sites. For our regular camping sites, it is a 12-night value for the price of 10 nights.
