Over the years, Jackson County has purchased and developed more than 200 acres of land throughout the county into our current park system. Jackson County Public Works operates and maintains these beautiful nature areas. Each park has its own unique qualities. Some have characteristics of timber with scenic views over a lake or river, while others have open field space for sports or large gatherings. Whichever you prefer, Jackson County invites you to share in the beauty of nature. We hope that you enjoy your time in our parks!
Our parks are open year round with hours set from Sunrise to 10:00 p.m. We also have designated camping available from May 1 to October 31 each year.
CAMPER SITES
Five of our parks include overnight camping. On Loon Lake and Pearl Lake, the campgrounds include: Anderson, Brown, Brown South, and Robertson Parks. On South Heron Lake, the campground is Sandy Point Park. All of our camping sites must be reserved on-line via our online reservation system.
