Environmental Services - The Environmental Services Office provides education on environmental issues and enforces mandates including:

- Water Planning
- Solid Waste & Recycling

- Noxious Weeds
- Aquatic Invasive Species
- Public Health & Safety (ADA compliance)
Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) - The Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District provides assistance to protect and preserve the counties natural resources. The Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) provides technical assistance to all Jackson County private and public land owners. This mission is accomplished through a multitude of Local, State and Federal Programs. These programs are promoted and implemented in Partnership with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). The SWCD is here to help landowners "Put Conservation on the Ground".
